Subjective Characteristics of Frequency Bands

Most EEG power or signal energy falls within the 0-20 Hz frequency range. Hertz (Hz) is an abbreviation for cycles per second. The dominant frequency is the frequency with the greatest amplitude. It is at least 13 Hz in awake adults. EEG power is measured in microvolts or picowatts.
