qEEG Tutor Guide

Overview

We designed qEEG Tutor to teach the 40-hour International QEEG Certification Board (IQCB) QEEG didactic requirement. This multimedia tutorial provides 40 IQCB didactic and 40 BCIA continuing education hours.

We have provided you with a username and password to open all purchased BioSource Software tutorials and ClassMarker exams in your registration email.

How To Start qEEG Tutor

1. Please click on qEEG Tutor to open it in your browser. When requested, enter your username and password. Firefox and Safari are currently the most compatible browsers for displaying our videos. If you prefer Chrome, uncheck “use hardware acceleration when available” in Advanced Settings.

2. Enter the username and password we sent you. You will use the same credentials to take exams on ClassMarker.

3. See the opening screen.

Select a Tutorial

Click on one of nine tutorials on our menu to open it in your browser.

Try Out the Links

qEEG Tutor has links to internet videos in the body of each unit and journal article abstracts or full-text articles in the Reference section. Just click on them to review their content.

Search Units By Using Find

Your browser’s search function (CTRL+F) will allow you to look up key terms. For example, you could look up the alpha rhythm in our EEG unit. You can use the up or down arrows to find the instance of the alpha rhythm you want.

ClassMarker

Please enter the username and password we emailed you. Copy and paste your credentials into ClassMarker and click on the black Login button. Do not click on the orange Register Free button.

How to Take Exams

If you are enrolled in more than one product (Group), select the set of exams you want using the My Groups tab by clicking on the desired product button.

When you select qEEG Tutor, ClassMarker will show you available exams and your percentage, scores, and elapsed time on exams you have completed.

Open an exam by clicking on the Start button. You may save any exam and finish later and retake exams as often as possible.

How to Receive Exam Feedback

When you submit your answers, you will receive detailed feedback for each question. ClassMarker will also email you a list of your missed questions.

How to Return to the Exam Menu

Click on My Tests at the left top of the screen.

From here, you may retake an exam or start a new one.

How to Receive Your Certificate of Exam Completion

When you have passed all nine unit exams with a score of 70% or higher, please contact us at fred@biosourcesoftware.com so that we may issue a certificate of exam completion for you to submit to the International QEEG Certification Board (IQCB) or the Biofeedback Certification International Alliance (BCIA).
